Through TAALC
Board Member Debbie Johnson, Idearc Media has generously agreed to
donate additional used Toshiba 9000 laptops to TAALC member
organizations. These laptops have only the original Toshiba Windows XP
image that shipped with the base product. No other software is installed
on them; however, they will be Internet ready. The laptops will be
shipped directly from Idearc.
If you are interested in receiving one or more of these laptops, please
fill out the attached application and email it to Beverly Barrett at
texasliteracy@gmail.com.
Those organizations who applied for laptops in December are eligible to
submit an application for additional laptops. Application deadline is
Thursday, January 31st. Organizations selected to receive the laptops
will be notified by February 15th. The laptops will be shipped by
February 29th.
